Goldfish Textile, Recycle UK and Ragbags

Over the last year our re-cycling project has raised in excess of £8,000, on behalf of all the children, Trustees and staff at MBH, a big thank you to everyone who has donated unwanted clothing etc to us over the last year.   The services we provide are FREE of charge and we have no statutory or government funding which means our income is derived from a variety of sources including community support. Your donation means a great deal to us.

David Hunt, from Cadbury’s cycled from their factory at Chirk in North Wales to the factory here at Marlbrook last week end.  He raised the fantastic sum of £1500 for MBH – David is a Trustee of MBH.

Well done, David, and a big Thank you.

The bikers completed their mammoth trip from John O’Groats to Land’s End.  On Saturday 17th July a group of scooter addicts from the Modern World Scooter Club visited MBH to hand over a cheque for £2,000.  We were delighted to receive this and have asked them for a brief synopsis of the journey and some photos.  These will follow

Thank you again to all concerned – including Premier Inns for so generously donating beds for the night to our intrepid scooter riders.
