A year in the life...
It costs over £2000 a year for a placement at Megan Baker House. A year’s a long time – just imagine the progress that could be made!

When I grow up...
Just like any other 7 year old, Elisha has big ideas about her future. Today, she wants to be a doctor … tomorrow she might decide that she’d rather be a teacher, a firefighter or a dolphin trainer! You can help keep her choices open by sponsoring Elisha. For £30 per week, you can ensure that her sessions continue, along with her journey to find the job of her dreams (when she decides what it is !)
Family Life…
Josh has a little brother but without the important skills he's learning at Megan Baker House, he would struggle to play and communicate with him. £15 per month will ensure that Josh’s mother will receive the necessary training to allow her to carry on supporting him in the home, encouraging him to be as independent as possible. This will mean much quicker progress and the desire to do things for himself - like being a bossy big brother!
Designs on the future...
Meet Gary, he attended his first block placement recently and say the improvement he has seen has been life changing! The skills he has learnt throughout the week will allow his everyday life to improve dramatically. He has been able to increase his range of movement, he is more aware of the movements he needs to make and how to carry out these movements. Thus allowing him to achieve his goal, be it getting up from the floor or walking in a co-ordinated and regulated manner. These are the important skills that he’s been learning at Megan Baker House. Donating just £15 per month will cover the costs of the next Intensive Block Session where Gary can introduce others to the achievements that he has seen through Conductive Education.
Promotion...
Promotional materials such as the newsletters, leaflets, information brochures and the costs of maintaining this website always need refreshing and funding. If you can help us with a sponsorship package for these unfunded areas we would be delighted to include your logo and a link to your website, providing you with a unique advertising package!

All people sponsoring a child, adult or service at Megan Baker House will receive a certificate; regular updates and newsletter and invitations to special events throughout the year.

Charities are now able to reclaim the tax you have paid on your donation – currently 28p for every £1 donated – at no extra cost to you!
This means if you donate £10.00 we can reclaim £2.80 making your donation to Megan Baker House £12.80. All you need to do is tick and sign the gift aid declaration when you make your donation.
Tax Relief...
If you pay tax at a higher rate you can also benefit from tax relief. You can reclaim the difference between 22% and 40% tax you have paid.
For example, if you give £10 we can reclaim £2.80. You can reclaim another £2.31 so your donation has only cost you £7.69 but is worth £12.80 to Megan Baker House.
