Last month at MBH
February has been a chaotic month for us at the centre, we have been without internet and emails for numerous weeks. We are back up and running now but it does seem to drop out at times. If you have tried to contact us and not had a response please do get back in touch with us as it may well have been during this period.
We welcomed Pauline & Gaynor from the Movement Centre at the beginning of the month; they had a full day with us and got to meet lots of the MBH children.
During half term we ran 3 intensive block sessions, the children all worked so hard and made huge improvements towards their individual aims.
Take a look at one child in particular, Imogen standing up from the floor bare foot and unaided…
On the 24th Chloe and Zoe were in Hereford Leisure Centre raising awareness and on hand to meet new families with children who we may be able to help. The day itself was quiet but we have since had lots of phone calls and also got children booked in for assessments. We were due to hold a similar day at Ledbury Leisure Centre in March but we have postponed it. Please contact us at the centre if you would like any more information
Leominster Leisure Centre supported us again this month as we borrowed 2 spin bikes and held an in store collection/spinathon at Leominster Morrisons on Saturday 27th. It was a great day, we had lots of fun and raised over £400.
As always we are extremely grateful of all the donations we have received this month and to mention a few we would like to thank David Ingham who was senior captain of Herefordshire Golf Club and during his year at captain he fundraised for us and we have received a cheque for £819 and also for the donations from the parents we received following their intensive block sessions.
