Last month at MBH

November 2017

October started off busy with more than 70 runners taking on the Mud Bath challenge at Eastnor Castle in aid of MBH. It was a fabulous day and sponsorship so far is currently over £1000. The following weekend Zoe was joined by lots of volunteers at Sainsbury’s, Hereford where generous customers donated £240.60. Before the centre closed for half term we said farewell but most definitely not good bye to Maddy  who left us to start her maternity leave.

We were fortunate to yet again receive West Midland Safari Park tickets from the Variety Club. All who were able to attend had a fabulous day so we would like to thank the variety Club for this fantastic day out.

When the centre reopened for the October half term it was slightly quieter than other weeks but it was still fantastic.  We were delighted to welcome Alek back for his annual block week, Alek and his family fly from Sweden each October for Alek’s session. He is a true inspiration and we really loved having him back at MBH. There is a fantastic video on the MBH Facebook page which shows how hard he works even when he is completely exhausted.

We had lost of visitors this month and as always some fantastic donations and support. Just to mention a few Orleton coffee shop raised £300, Emile who attends weekly sessions in lieu of birthday presents for his 6th birthday asked for donation for MBH and participant Sophie and her sister held a cake sale at their primary school and raised £203.59.
